New Zealand have lost their opening game at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, losing 4-1 to an impressive Nigerian side.

The Nigerians raced to a 3-0 lead within the opening half hour, before New Zealand were able to stem the tide of attacks and find a goal for themselves.
