Stop Out seek men’s first team coach for next year’s Central League 2 campaign

Central League 2 club Stop Out are seeking a men’s first team coach for next season.

The side were relegated from this year’s Central League and will compete in the newly-created second tier competition in 2025.

The new coach will replace departing director of football and first team coach Alistair Yates who has decided to leave the club after eight years in coaching roles.

In its advertisement for the role, the club says the key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the first team coaching group across training sessions, tactical strategies and matchday preparation.
  • Work closely with the club’s committee and other coaches to ensure seamless integration and pathways across all teams.
  • Represent the values of Stop Out Sports Club and our motto of “Alter alterius onera portate” with a positive and inclusive team culture.

Required experience includes proven coaching experience at a competitive level, a minimum NZF C Licence (working towards a B Licence).

The coach should also show strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, and display a commitment to the long-term success of the team and club.
