Another home game added to All Whites schedule in October

The All Whites have confirmed a third home fixture for this spring, with the team set to face Malaysia in an international friendly at Auckland’s North Harbour Stadium.

The game will be played on Monday October 14, 2024, kicking off at 7pm.

The match is the first of three home games before the end of 2024 and will be followed by OFC qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in November, where the team will face Vanuatu and the winner of a preliminary qualifying series, Samoa.

Those games will be played at Hamilton’s FMG Stadium and Go Media Stadium Mt Smart in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

“We saw the impact of a sustained period of home games during the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 and I’m delighted that we are looking at, fate permitting, potentially five games in a row for the All Whites in Aotearoa.

“We are delighted to bring another Asia Football Confederation member, in Malaysia, to New Zealand as we extend and grow our international football network and build on global relationships that enable games such as these.

“With direct qualification now for the winner of OFC, this is a significant period for the game both in New Zealand but also Oceania, so we encourage all Kiwi sports fans to come along to these matches and support the team to as they build towards making history by qualifying for the FIFA World Cup for the third time.”
