Auckland United have added another women’s trophy to their collection, adding the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premiership to their 2024 OFC Women’s Champions League title.
The Ben Bate-coached team clinched the premiership in midweek when a win against nearest rivals Wests Coast Rangers ensured they could not be caught.

United won 4-1 in the rain at Keith Hay Park, with goals from Rene Wasi, Chelsea Elliott, Charlotte Roche and an own goal.
On Wednesday night, Western Springs and Hibiscus Coast won games to consolidate their positions in the eight-club premiership.
United play their final game of the premiership season on Sunday when they meet Western Springs at Seddon Fields.
If they win, they’ll complete an unbeaten premiership season.
Auckland United get the chance to add the Kate Sheppard Cup when play Western Springs again, in the final at North Harbour Stadium on Saturday September 7, 2024.

After that, United will defend the Women’s National League title they won last year.
The Women’s National League gets underway at the end of September.
