Jamie Evans has joined WaiBOP Football as a futsal development officer.
Based in Hamilton, Evans will work on futsal competitions and support futsal development across the regions.
“Jamie is currently playing futsal with the New Zealand team, and has an excellent understanding of the issues we face in the game,” said Cliff Harris, WaiBOP’s futsal development manager.
“I have a passion for development across all areas of our game,” Evans told WaiBOP Football.
Evans has become the federation’s main point of contact for futsal competitions, taking over from Graeme Blake.
