New Zealand secured their historic ninth title with a hard-fought 3-1 win over Fiji in the final of the OFC U-16 Men’s Championship in Tahiti.

New Zealand scored their first goal through Nathan Martin, three minutes into the game.

The young Bula Boys levelled the score in the 28th minute.

The tension remained high until both teams were reduced to 10 men.

New Zealand then regained the lead with the two-goal cushion by Luke Brooke-Smith and Justin Cardozo, securing their victory.
