Defending champions Auckland City fought back from a 2-0 half-time deficit to rescue a 2-2 draw with nearest challengers Birkenhead United, with the equaliser coming three minutes from time.
In the NRF League One, Papatoetoe and South Auckland Rangers had a goalfest, with Rangers scoring three goals in stoppage time to take the three points.
