Auckland FC chief executive Nick Becker says the decision to choose Go Media Stadium Mt Smart to host A-League games does not rule out future plans for the club to develop its own stadium.
In a 13-minute interview with NewstalkZB host D’Arcy Waldegrave, Becker said the club was ambitious and would consider options to own or be part of the development of a suitable ground, and training base.
In the meantime, he said, the Mt Smart option was best for the club.
Auckland FC has signed a five-year agreement with Auckland Stadiums.
