All Whites skipper Liberato Cacace named best player at OFC Men’s Nations Cup

New Zealand captain Liberato Cacace has been awarded the Golden Ball after being named the most valuable player at the 2024 OFC Men’s Nations Cup in Vanuatu.

Cacace was judged to be the tournament’s best player after he led the All Whites to their sixth OFC Men’s Nations Cup, beating hosts Vanuatu 3-0 in the final.

During the tournament, New Zealand scored 15 goals and conceded none.

Goalkeeper Max Crocombe was awarded the tournament’s Golden Glove.

Fiji captain Roy Krishna was the tournament’s leading goalscorer and won the Golden Boot award.
