National body seeks input from individuals dedicated to women’s football

Passionate about women’s football and continuing its growth and development in Aotearoa New Zealand?

NZ Football are seeking expressions of interest from dedicated individuals of all genders keen to join New Zealand Football’s Women’s Committee.

The Women’s Committee will meet at least four times per year and hold the following responsibilities:

  • Review the Women’s Football Strategy for New Zealand Football and its targeted outcomes to ensure it aligns with and meets the goals of the NZF Strategic Plan.
  • Review and make recommendations to the chief executive on the key strategic goals of the Women’s Football Strategy and provide advice and guidance on potential risks and improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators in FIFA investment schedules and the NZF Football Strategy pertaining specifically to women.
  • Ensure alignment with the needs of the Technical Advisory Group and high-performance programmes.
  • Deal with any other business pertaining to domestic NZF Women’s Football that the Executive Committee deem appropriate.

How to express interest

Your expression of interest should be submitted to Annalie Longo, NZF Women’s Development Manager.

Email annalie.longo@nzfootball.co.nz by Monday July 15, 2024, and include the following:

  • A brief cover letter outlining your interest in joining the Women’s Committee and your relevant experience.
  • A current resume highlighting your background, skills and any previous involvement in sport or governance activities where relevant.
  • Contact information for two referees who can speak to your ability for the role (referees will only be contacted with your permission).

NZ Football says they encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are passionate about advancing women’s football to express their interest.
