Striker Gianni Bouzoukis has made a triumphant return to Wellington Olympic, helping the national champions to a 5-3 win against the Wellington Phoenix Reserves in their midweek Cental League fixture.
Bouzoukis (25) has re-signed for Olympic after a stint in Australia, and came off the bench to score Olympic’s fifth goal in the match at Martin Luckie Park.
The win opened up a five-point lead for Olympic.
Bouzouki, the co-winner of New Zealand’s Men’s National League Golden Boot for the past two seasons, moved to Sydney National Premier League side NWS Spirit late last year.
