Wellington Phoenix goalkeeper Alex Paulsen has written a public letter to Yellow Fever fans and others who’ve encouraged him in his men’s A-League career.
The letter, shared by Phoenix through their social media channels, credits supporters for helping him perform in his first season as the club’s first-choice ‘keeper.
Paulsen (21) is heading to the UK to join English Premier League club Bournemouth on a four-year contract, sparking a transfer fee to the Phoenix that’s reportedly about $4 million.
Paulsen has also shared his reaction to the move in a 12-minute media briefing.
