All Whites captain Chris Wood says being open about mental health issues is an important part of building a strong team culture.
Wood (32) shares his thoughts on the topic in a half-hour video discussion with four of his Nottingham Forest teammates, recorded in May 2024.
Wood, Ryan Yates, Morgan Gibbs-White, Neco Williams and Matt Turner took part in the discussion to help promote Mental Health Awareness Week in the United Kingdom.
In the discussion, Wood says even though he’s one of the older players at the club, he’s learned experience isn’t everything, and he learns much from the new ideas and opinions of young players.
